NANUET, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 19-year-old man was arrested after Clarkstown Police say he attacked a co-worker at Coscto with a box cutter on Black Friday.

Shaquille White, 19, of Spring Valley, was arrested Monday. He was charged with felony first degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The two men were busy stocking shelves around 6 a.m. when a fight broke out in a bathroom of the big box store at 50 Overlook Blvd., according to Lt. Dietrich.

The victim, a 21-year-old Garnerville man, was slashed multiple times in the face and once in the abdominal area. The man was taken to Nyack Hospital for surgery. He is expected to survive.

White turned himself in on Monday at the Clarkstown Police Department.

He was placed in the Rockland County Jail under a $50,000 bond.

According to police, there was talk at the store that the incident may have been related to an argument between the two last week.
