85-year-old with early onset dementia vanishes from NY home

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The public’s help is needed to find a missing 85-year-old man who has early onset dementia, state police said Tuesday.

Michael Ward was last seen about noon Monday leaving his home in Cortlandt Manor, in Westchester County, police said. His family says he has been diagnosed with early onset dementia and may need medical attention.

When Ward vanished, he was driving a 2012 black Chevrolet Malibu with New York license plate FTK2463, state police said.

He described as a white male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 130 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
