Long Island bus strikes three pedestrians: authorities

GREAT NECK PLAZA (PIX11) — Two pedestrians were struck by a NICE bus on Long Island Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. The N20 bus to Flushing was heading down Great Neck Road when the driver tried to take a left onto S. Middle Neck Road when the rear front wheel guard struck two women and a child.

The light was green when the driver turned, according to NICE public relations representatives.

The victims’ injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

NICE and police are investigating.
