NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Governor Chris Christie says he's tired of hearing about the minimum wage.

Christie told an audience in Washington yesterday that he doesn't think parents sit around their kitchen tables hoping their children make a higher minimum wage.

He says they aspire to more than that. Christie's comments sparked criticism on social media and from the Democratic National Committee.
