THE BRONX (PIX11) -- Police have released video of a dramatic rescue on the Bronx River Parkway.

Cops say highway patrol police officer Gregory Zakoscienly was following a Ford that had slowed down and then stopped in the right hand lane Wednesday afternoon.

The officer got out of his vehicle and found the 49-yearIold driver choking on a throat lozenge.

His dashcam shows he gave her the heimlich maneuver and got her to spit up the lozenge, saving her life.
