NYPD searching for suspects in connection with 7 Bronx burglaries

KINGSBRIDGE, The Bronx (PIX11) — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects wanted in connection with a string of robberies in The Bronx.

In each of the incidents, the suspects entered apartments by breaking the cylinder lock on the front door. They are seen on video surveillance entering an apartment building on the same day the burglaries occurred.

The three suspects, described as 30 to 40-year-old men, entered the apartments during the day when residents were not home. They took cash, jewelery and small electronics from the following locations:

1.            On Monday, August 18, 2014 inside of 3900 Baily Avenue
2.            On Monday, August 18, 2014 inside of 92 Van Cortlandt Park West
3.            On Monday, August 18, 2014 inside of 3815 Putnam Avenue West
4.            On Monday, August 18, 2014 inside of 130 Van Cortlandt Avenue West
5.            On Wednesday, August 27, 2014 inside of 3980 Hillman Avenue
6.            On Wednesday, August 27, 2014 inside of 3980 Hillman Avenue
7.            On Wednesday, August 27, 2014 inside of 3985 Gouverneur Avenue
