128 guns turned in during Bronx buyback program

Three assault rifles were among the 128 guns turned in.

NEW YORK (AP) – Law enforcers say a total of 128 guns were turned in during a buyback program at three Bronx churches.
Saturday’s gun buyback was organized by police and the Bronx district attorney’s office.
Police say the weapons turned in included 78 revolvers, 38 semi-automatic weapons and three assault rifles.
There were also shotguns, starter pistols and BB guns.
