2 pedestrians injured after SUV crashes into Brooklyn building

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- Two pedestrians in East New York were injured after an SUV crashed into a building early Saturday.

The driver hit the pedestrians before crashing into the Spring Creek Towers complex on Seaview Avenue at Pennsylvania Avenue, leaving a small hole in the brick wall it hit and fleeing the scene around 2 a.m.

The initial 911 call was received at 1:50 p.m. A 27-year-old man suffered a serious leg injury and a 32-year-old woman suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to Brookdale Medical Center to be treated.
