HALESITE, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police believe a missing 92-year-old Long Island man with Alzheimer’s disease might be in New York City.

Laszlo “Leslie” Tar was last seen leaving his home on Cliftwood Drive in Halesite Friday afternoon just before 3:00 p.m.

The Suffolk County Police Department issued a Silver Alert early Saturday morning for Tar.

He was last seen wearing a royal blue polo shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Tar is described as being 5-foot-2 and weighing 170 pounds.

Police believe that Tar might be in New York City.
