(PIX11) – This couple’s creative baby announcement is ultra sweet – and not just because they used soda to make their big reveal.

Patrick and Whitney McGillicuddy, of Los Angeles, played off Coca Cola’s new initiative #ShareaCoke – which touts personalized bottles and cans of the soft drink – to let the world (literally) know that they’re expecting.

The video was posted July 31 and has since been watched more than 1.3 million times.

A self-described “DJ/MC/Entertainer,” Patrick says the initial idea was his, but credits his wife’s “amazing camera skills” for bringing it to life.

When Whitney takes a swig of Patrick’s soda – labeled with his name – her voice changes to that of her husband’s. Realizing their “powers,” the pair tear through a case of Coke, their voices altering with each can.

First, they sound like Steve Carrell. Then Christopher Walken.

After several changes, their voices finally return to normal and they slowly reveal the cans that made it possible: Mom and Dad.

Moved by the big reveal? The expecting couple included a link to their baby registry for any family, friends or “friendly strangers” who want to help them start their new lives as parents.
