Jeremy Meeks’ wife ‘furious’ over attention from mugshot

STOCKTON, Calif. (PIX11) – The wife of Jeremy Meeks, the man whose mugshot went viral, is unhappy about all of the Internet attention her husband is getting for his looks.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t see her at all in the cameras, because she’s upset,” Simone Johnson, a friend of Meeks’ wife told CBS13. “Shes furious. Her man is in there and people are taking it as a joke, thinking it’s funny talking about his looks, saying all kinds of crazy things.”

Meeks’ mugshot went viral last Thursday when it was posted to the Stockton Police Department’s Facebook page for a law enforcement operation.

Not long after the photo went up, it went viral, garnering nearly 50,000 likes by Friday morning.

Meeks was charged with illegally possessing a firearm, as well as other gun and gang-related charges.

Prosecutors say Meeks was also accused of violating his parole.

His wife should look at this way. She is married to him and no one else will have him. Why be so jealous over comments one the internet. Personally I dont see anything special about him. He is just another stupid guy that broke the all and is now away from his family. And has put his family in a position to were is wife is all jealous over internet comments. If that was the case before he went to jail that she was jealous over other woman and now is upset because people are making fun well it doesn’t sound like much of a relationship before he went to jail. Good luck Mrs Meeks I think your going to need it.

Why she mad???? Ummmm look at all the publicity ..means that maybe when he gets out he will straighten himself out for his family and let whatever good that will happen from this situation. She should be happy that our society is so fucked up that we are celebrating such a piece of shit and while law abiding hard working people struggle to keep there head above this piece of shit will end up getting rewarded for being a fuck up. So his wife is a dumb ass for getting mad over how screwed up society is to reward this criminal jist because he took a good mugshot..crazyyyyy

With the internet buzzing with posters calling him “Hottie”, “The Smooth
Criminal”, “Mr. Model” along with several offers to foot his bail – although
probably not serious – can a jury be found that can be impartial? Will
Meeks’s “hotness” help him at trial? Prosecutors and defense attorneys will
be trying to access how the unusual publicity might affect their cases and
how they can use or combat its effects.

But Meeks’s good looks will probably play a bigger role than any of the
usual criteria attorneys are looking for in a jury. Again, juries are only
human and its just human nature to give good looking people “breaks.” Jury
consultants have know this for a long time. Research studies have shown
where the exact same evidence presented to two juries with only the looks of
the defendant being different, the defendant with the model looks faired far
better then the “regular joe” defendant. This is why defense attorneys
always try to dress their clients up, get their hair cut, cover their
tattoos, and get them clean shaven. The less “Charlie Manson” and more
    “Warren Beatty” the better.

Will Meeks get a break? Only time will tell. But all Meeks and his defense
team need is one, star struck juror to hang the jury, while the prosecution
needs to convince all twelve jurors to overlook the overly handsome,
exciting, now famous Meeks and concentrate solely on the boring evidence.

Maybe it’s me, maybe I am just a mother with a very different set of values or I see the world through a different set of eyes. I understand that the World has been very taken by Mr. Meeks and his mass appeal. Usually we didn’t look twice at felons when they flashed on the news, we just looked at them as some sort of underbelly, something that you didn’t want to become, the stuff that you warned your children not to become. We never idolized felons, who makes a movement of hashtags to say that this man that we don’t even know makes our panties wet? I don’t know this man, and these women whose self-esteem sag on nothingness does not speak for me. I tend to like my men with character, jobs, moral, sense of self, sense of family, the ability to learn from mistakes. Credit worthiness, college degrees ambition, a future that we can both see ourselves going down. A man who when he looks at his children he can tell them he will be there for them, he will not be someone’s toy in prison, that he can look at his children promise them a life without bars. Well that’s what I like in men, I can’t speak for Mr. Meek’s significant other, and obviously her standards are a lot lower as is his 40,000 member fan club!
As for her being upset with the internet for making memes about her husband, I find this hilarious, freaking hilarious. Her statements are hilarious, “there is a man behind these memes”. No mam’, there are people behind your husband’s crimes! That is what I find upsetting and that is what the justice system will let you see. They allowed you the privilege to have your pretty “boy” husband back home after two years of free accommodations courtesy the “wet panties” of the tax payers, yet he didn’t learn. Even though you and his mother strain to tell us his Love of the Lord. It is funny that you are upset at the memes and not upset that your husband is in a gang, that your husband is a felon, that your husband at any moment could leave your babies orphaned, or you a widow. That at any moment a rival gang could rush into your home and rape and rob you, but maybe you are too hardcore to be upset by that, who am I to “judge”.
The fact that you are upset by memes and not that your babies daddy walks around with guns in a car that they ride in is a cry and same at the mother that you are and a shame that we as a country, that we need licenses to hunt, to drive, but we let animals make babies to grow up in these environments in a perpetual cycle of hopelessness and despair…. But I am sure as “pretty boy Meeks” gets shipped off a new daddy will take his place and I will fund your food stamps until you get on your feet, while I pay for him for the rest of his pretty accommodations for life.
You my friend, it’s not too late to make smarter choices for the sake of your children, and allow pretty boy to be beautiful in jail. I’m sure he will do just fine… most boys like him will get taken care of for the long haul.

How dare the wife get mad for us thinking this is a joke. We didn’t put his dumb a$$ in jail. I suspect some people WANT to go to jail. And he sure is pretty. He’s sure to be a hit.

Um I work in a jail and men in jail does not turn me on I don’t care how they look jail is not a pleasant place. And if he has violated his probation and facing all these charges, if he is found guilty he might be locked up for years to come and those looks are just going to wither away. When I’m watching some kind of crime show I can look at the person and tell if they went to jail or not before it is revealed because they have a certain unkept look about them.
