HENLAWSON, WV (PIX11) — A young girl saved her father’s life amid a wild storm, thanks to a frantic plea on Facebook.

According to ABC News, Brianna Vance’s dad, Gregory Vance, was sitting on the front porch with two friends watching the storm in Henlawson, W. Virginia, when lightning struck a tree — sending it directly on top of them.

10 year-old Brianna sprung into action, knowing it was up to her to save her father and his friends.

Because the storm took out cell service and her house didn’t have a landline, she went to social media.

She posted a tearful video on Facebook, pleading for online friends to call an ambulance for her injured father.

“The lightning crashed and hit a tree by our porch and my dad’s almost dead,” Vance said. “He needs an ambulance please. Please call one for us if you have a signal. We live in a yellow house.”

Someone called 911 when they saw her post, and ambulance arrived in time to take all three to a nearby hospital.

All three have been treated and have been released from the hospital since the incident last week.
