NEW YORK (PIX11) — The drug suspect that struck an officer while fleeing custody in a stolen police car in Queens has been captured, according to the NYPD.

Bryan McMenamin, 38, was arrested in Glendale Monday night on suspicion of selling narcotics.

Somehow, a handcuffed McMenamin was able to slip away from officers and hopped into an unmarked police car.

The suspect ran over a plainclothes officer who tried to stop him. The officer suffered a leg injury.
