Senate Chairman Of Transportation Committee Calls For Investigation Into George Washington Bridge Lane Closures

(PIX11) — Drivers are urged to give themselves extra time to get from New Jersey to Manhattan Tuesday morning.

Late-running construction snarled the morning commute on the George Washington Bridge, where motorists on inbound lanes reported delays up to 60 minutes.

Hour-long delays were also reported in the inbound Holland and Lincoln tunnels.
