John Muller will return to PIX11 News and will reunite with Tamsen Fadal as co-host of PIX11 News at 5 and PIX11 News at 10 starting Monday, July 14. Muller, was an original co-anchor of the Emmy award winning PIX11 Morning News when it launched it June 2000, a position he held for 11 years, working alongside Fadal for 3 of those years.
Since leaving PIX11 in 2011, Muller has been the anchor of ABC ‘World News Now” and ABC ‘America This Morning.’ He also served as a fill in news reader on ‘Good Morning America” and a Correspondent across all ABC News platforms. He returns to the PIX11 family on June 23 and will report to Mark Effron, VP/News Director, PIX11.

Muller is a native New Yorker from Williston Park, Long Island, and a graduate of New York University. He began his news career as a reporter and anchor at WTOC-TV in Savannah, Georgia, a CBS affiliate, and also held similar jobs at WBBH in Fort Myers, WFLA in Tampa, and WNBC’s Newschannel 4 in New York, where he remained until joining PIX11 in 1999 as a field reporter.
He is an award winning journalist receiving The Associated Press Award for “Outstanding Individual Achievement” and the National Academy of Television Journalists Award for “Excellence in Breaking News.”

As part of the change in evening news, PIX11 is expanding sports coverage and adding in-depth analysis and team coverage of primetime sports. Scott Stanford will serve as Lead Sports Anchor will give viewers more in depth sports coverage across all dayparts.
Stanford will also continue to host PIX11 Sports Desk, a fast-paced, stand-alone quarter hour at 10:45pm, focused solely on sports coverage, currently airing on Fridays, with plans for expansion. Stanford will play a key role as PIX11 continues to develop sports partnerships and special sports coverage.
