NEW YORK (PIX11) — President Obama may be in the market for some New York digs after his presidency.

Politico is reporting that after his February trip to New York City, Obama couldn’t stop talking about how much he missed the city.

While in the Big Apple, Obama stopped at a midtown Gap store to shop for his daughters.

“What he cherishes and misses is the serendipity — you don’t know who you’re going to bump into or what they’re going to say,” Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett said about the visit.

Obama lived in New York City while attending Columbia University.

Hawaii, the President’s birthplace, is also an option being considered for post Commander in Chief life.
