(PIX11 Weather Center) — A cold front will slowly move Eastward today bringing a line of heavy rain and thunderstorms later in the day. We will see scattered showers and patchy fog this morning then a heavier steadier rain will develop. The high temperature will be 71 degrees in the City, upper 60s to low 70s in the suburbs.
The showers and thunderstorms will continue into tonight as the cold front passes through the region. The rain will begin to taper off toward morning. Overnight lows will be 57 degrees for the City, Low 50s in the suburbs.
Saturday will be partly cloudy as the storm system moves away from the area and weak high pressure moves toward the region. The high will be around 75 degrees for the City. Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low 70s.
We will start the work week with partly cloudy skies and seasonable temperatures with highs in the low 70s. The next chance of rain will come toward the middle of the week as another area of low pressure moves into the region.
