BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are investigating the stabbing death of a 19-year-old woman in the Bronx.
Police responded to a call around 9:30 a.m. Saturday to a building at 2600 Creston Ave.
When police arrived, they found a 19-year-old woman in front of the building with a stab wound to the chest.
She was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The woman was later identified as Jasmine Canton.
Canton lived in the building and was stabbed in her apartment, according to police.
Police said there may have been an argument before Canton was stabbed.
So far no arrests have been made.
