NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — High pressure will remain in place for one more day, bringing another round of sunshine to the Tri-State Area.
Temperatures will be a bit milder Thursday than the day before, with highs near 64 degrees for the city and in the upper 60s for the suburbs.
A cold front will approach from the west Thursday evening bringing increasing clouds and a chance of showers. The front will slow as it reaches the area, keeping clouds and showers in the forecast for Friday.
Temperatures will continue to be mild Friday, reaching the mid-60s for NYC.
Skies will gradually clear on Saturday as high pressure works its way into the area. The daytime high will reach the mid-60s for the city and upper 60s for the suburbs.
Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with noticeably milder temperatures. Highs will be close to 70 degrees in the city with low 70s for the southern suburbs.
