NEW YORK (PIX11) — A 45-year-old man may have been train surfing before his body was found atop a subway car in the Bronx Wednesday night, NYPD said.
Police responding to the Elder Avenue station about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday found the man lying unconscious and unresponsive on top of a 6 train, according to the NYPD. He appeared to have suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased was identified Thursday as Isabel Rios, 45, of the Bronx, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
