Noise complaint in Queens turns into massive heroin bust

FLUSHING, Queens (PIX11)– A Queens man is under arrest after police found a large amount of heroin in his apartment.

According to reports, officers responded to a noise complaint coming from inside Frank Giardina’s apartment on Friday night.

When officers knocked on the door Giardina answered, holding a marijuana pipe.

The man went on to invite the officers inside the apartment when asked him for his ID to write him a ticket.

When cops walked inside they found five pounds of heroin sitting right on his kitchen table.

After further search cops found 1,948 glassiness of heroin along with packing materials and equipment.

Giardina was arrested immediately and is now facing charges of intent to sell, possession of an amount greater than 8oz and possession of Methamphetamine.
