Bernie Kerik on misson to reform criminal justice system

NEW YORK (PIX11)– Former NYPD commissioner Bernard Kerik who aspired to President George W.Bush’s Secretary of Homeland Security, but went to federal prison for tax fraud and perjury, reveals on this week’s PIX11 New Closeup that he initially turned down the White House offer.

Marvin Scott asked Kerik what he was thinking permitting the vetting process knowing someone would find the skeletons in his closet.

Kerik also shelled out his opinion on freshly inducted police commissioner Bill Bratton.
