The parade will go on after a scandal hit the Puerto Rican Day parade leadership.

NEW YORK (PIX11) There’s no stopping the Puerto Rican Day Parade.

Last week Attorney General Eric Schneiderman outsted the manager of the parade, saying they pocketed $1M in board funds.

Officials decided not to pull the plug and instead offered to raise money and seek out new sponsors.

The parade is scheduled for June 8th.
