New York City Subway Pushing Death Puts Spotlight On Commuter Safety

Friends of a woman hit by a subway car have raised $19K for her medical expenses.

NEW YORK (PIX11)  Friends of an injured Brooklyn comedienne have raised over $19K after she was hit by a subway car

Twenty-five-year old Liza Dye was struck by a train at the Broadway-Lafayette station in lower Manhattan last Thursday.

Her friends have set up a site called HelpLiza.com if you’d like to make a donation to assist with her medical expenses. The group will also be holding a fundraiser at The Stand in Gramercy Park on March 5th.
