Multiple people waiting at Woodside bus stop plowed down in hit-and-run

WOODSIDE, Queens (PIX11) —  Four people waiting at a Queens bus stop were hit by a car that fled the scene Saturday evening.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Northern Boulevard and 48th Street.

A witness tells PIX11 that a white Mazda was speeding down the street trying to make a red light but lost control.

The car hit a family of three and another person at the bus stop before fleeing the scene.

“He just kept going,” one witness told PIX11.

One of the victims is a young girl.
The victims were taken to area hospitals where one was listed in critical condition.

The car was recovered but the search for the driver continues.
