GoPro releases first-hand video of Australian daredevil’s 24-mile jump from space

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The mini camera company GoPro has released a video highlighting Australian daredevil Felix Baumgartner’s 24-mile jump from space in 2012.

In the YouTube video posted by GoPro on Friday, viewers can ride along with Baumgartner on his descent.

Viewers get a firsthand look at what Baumgartner saw as well as his heart rate and speed.

Millions watched around the world as Baumgartner stepped out of the capsule and broke the sound barrier.

There were seven GoPro cameras used in the mission including several attached to Bamgartner’s suit.
