First New York City baby of 2014 born in Brooklyn

PARK SLOPE, Brooklyn (PIX11) – In Brooklyn the first New York City baby of 2014 was delivered in the first minutes of the new year.

Shannon-Lee Williams was born at New York Methodist Hospital at 12 a.m. to the minute, according to a hospital spokesperson.

First Baby

The healthy baby girl weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces.

She was born to proud parents Samantha Nieves and Shannon Willis, who live in Crown Heights.
