The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for New York City starting Tuesday at 5 a.m.
Snowfall is expected to start at about 3 a.m. Accumulations will range from close to two inches in New York City, close to four for parts of New Jersey and three inches for the northern suburbs.
Snow will begin to taper off at about 1 p.m. The high temperature will be at 33 degrees.
