Cops searching for group that chased, beat man at Christopher Street PATH station

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Police are searching for a group of six people that allegedly chased and beat a New Jersey man at the Christopher Street PATH station Sunday morning.

The Port Authority Police Department says the 44-year-old victim was chased and assaulted by three males and three females, all believed to be in their 20s, at about 6 a.m. The suspects didn’t steal any of the man’s belongings.

The man was treated at the scene for a laceration to his forehead, a cut lip and head pain. The man later went to Jersey City Medical Center when he began experiencing pain to his head.
