Good Samaritan helps catch man accused of groping girls, assaulting cop in Park Slope

(PIX11) — The work of a brave good Samaritan led to the arrest of a sexual assault suspect in Brooklyn Wednesday.

The man assisted authorities with the capture of a suspected habitual groper who allegedly victimized four women in Park Slope.

Police have identified the man in custody as 34-year-old Jesse Dailey, who lives on 13th St. in Park Slope.

After witnessing the alleged groper flee after cops say he assaulted a police officer who was questioning him, the good Samaritan pursued the suspect, snapped a picture of him and and kept his identification.

The ID was then given to authorities, who were able to track down him down, which then led to his arrest.

Dailey now faces charges of felony assault, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and assault.
