Metro-North New Haven line experiencing delays — again

Metro-North expected to be fully restored for Monday commute

The Metro-North’s troubled New Haven line is experiencing delays again, just a few weeks after a power outage that crippled the line to a halt.

The MTA says that New Haven line customers traveling into and out of Grand Central Terminal should expect delays of up to 20 minutes due to signal issues.

A rider that is currently in transit says that their train is stalled on the tracks.

Early last month, an electrical problem in Mount Vernon caused massive delays on the line, leading the MTA to issue refunds for hundreds of customers.
