MANHATTAN (PIX11) - Frank Piazza is an audio and video forensic expert and when PIX11 had him listen to video of Alec Baldwin yelling at a member of the paparazzi on Thursday, he said it’s pretty clear.
“Two possible words come clean in my ear although I can’t be 100-percent sure. It sounds like the second time he’s yelling the words ‘you c***sucking trash’ or ‘you c***sucking f**,” said Piazza.
Piazza was never shown what words in particular were being used in the press and used specialized software to isolate voices from background city noises. In doing so, Piazza said actor and MSNBC host, Alec Baldwin, certainly said those words but after an even greater boost to the audio Piazza felt almost positive the word was trash.
The controversy boiled over after celebrity site, TMZ, reported Baldwin used the colorful and offensive word that begins with the letter –F- towards homosexuals, while chasing after a member of the paparazzi. Baldwin, however, insisted he said the world ‘fathead.’ That was clearly not what our audio expert heard.
GLAAD, in the meantime, was not happy with any of what Baldwin said.
In a statement the organization said:
“Mr. Baldwin can’t lend his support for equality on paper, while degrading gay people in practice. It’s clearly time he listens to the calls from so many LGBT people and allies to end this pattern of anti-gay slurs.”
Baldwin seemed to apologize on his Twitter page.
