Banksy didn’t take Sunday off and his latest target is the New York Times.
The artist’s latest piece popped up in Greenpoint.
The artist said on his website it’s a response to the paper not publishing his op-ed about One World Trade Center.
He has since posted the column on his site.
Banksy says the building lacks a spine and confidence.
The Times responded saying they did reject the piece, but added what they were given and what Banksy has now published aren’t exactly the same.
“He did submit an op-Ed and art. We couldn’t agree on either the piece or the art, so we did reject it,” a Times spokeswoman said. “What he has posted on his site is not exactly the same as what he submitted.”
