If there is a theme to this mayoral election it’s been that endorsements don’t matter, and more importantly, political pundits don’t matter. New Yorkers make up their own minds individually and based on their own morals and convictions and needs and worldview. And what’s even more interesting if not hysterical is how pundits track the polls and then reconfigure their opinion to make it sound like they called the election this way the whole time. It’s like astrology.
