Weather

Some showers today caused some minor flooding for rivers and streams in New Jersey. The Lamington River and Middle Brook near Burnt Mills, NJ were 2 feet over their banks causing the National Weather Service to issue Flood Warnings for that area.

The cold front is still located nearby Toronto as of early this evening. Ahead of it is a line showers that stretch from Burlington, Vermont to State College, Pennsylvania giving a few showers and thunderstorms. Because of that, we cannot totally rule out the chance for another round of showers tonight.

By tomorrow morning, the front will pass and skies will clear out towards the midday hours. Temperatures will still be in the mid 80s but the humidity will be lower.

High pressure will be in full control giving us pleasant weekend. Northerly winds assocciated with the incoming high pressure will allow temperatures to be on the cool side. Highs for each day will be around 80 degrees, which is 2-3 degrees below normal. Some suburbs north and west of the city may go down into the upper 40’s at night.
