NEW YORK (PIX11) – The rain is currently tapering off to light scattered showers. By tomorrow morning’s rush, the rain should be over leaving us with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the lower 80s. Compared to today, this is 10-15 degrees warmer compared to today’s high.

The weekend looks like that it will mainly be on the dry side. On Saturday, a weak disturbance will pass through the area providing the chance brief shower. Highs for the day will be in the low to mid 80s.  Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the lower 80s.

Looking into the next work week, the next chance of showers could be Tuesday. Temperatures through Thursday will stay in the lower 80s.
