Senator John McCain wants review of ‘stand your ground’ laws

(PIX11) – GOP Senator John McCain has joined President Obama in calls for a review of the country’s “stand your ground” laws.

This comes on the heels of the “not guilty” verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial, which has sparked a national conversation on race relations.

The Arizona senator is known for breaking ranks with republicans as well as for his pointed criticism of his former presidential rival.

The verdict led to President Obama’s impromptu speech Friday on race and life — his included — as an African American male.

Now I'm sure McCain has lost it. Time for him to go. Put out to pasture. Retired.
