1 teen killed, another injured after shootout in Brooklyn

coptapeEAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN (PIX11) – Police are investigating a shooting that left one teenager dead and another injured in Brooklyn Sunday evening.

Police say at about 5 p.m, a man wearing all black and a ski mask jumped out of a tan or brown sedan in front of 768 Miller place in East New York and began firing.

An 18-year-old boy was shot twice in the chest and a 16-year-old was hit once in the leg.

The shooter then got back into the car and fled.

Both victims were rushed to Brookdale Hospital where the 18-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival. The other boy is in stable condition.

The name of the victims have not yet been released.
