Parts of the A-train line will be momentarily shut down for emergency repairs on Wednesday, leaving commuters and beach-goers in search of alternative route to travel to and from the Rockaways.

Starting Wednesday, the MTA will close the stretch of track between the Euclid Avenue and Howard Beach-JFK Airport stations for rail repairs between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Free local and express shuttle buses will be available in both directions.
