(PIX11) – Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a gutsy woman in SoHo, who stood up to one of them while at gunpoint and said he didn’t have it in him to shoot.

Anna Graham was smoking a cigarette outside her Grand Street apartment about 1 a.m. July 3 when two young men approached her.

One of the men pulled out a gun, cocked it, put it up to her head and said, “Give me your wallet.”

The 54-year-old woman said she didn’t have one, and then told the gunman he did not have the guts to actually shoot her. Her two female friends then came out of the building; one jumped the man without the gun while the other called 911.

A brief struggle ensued before the men took off, snatching from the car $600 cash, an iPad Mini and a Samsung Galaxy cell phone.

Graham had been watching the vehicle for her two friends, who were packing up for a holiday trip to Shelter Island.

The incident is reminiscent of a 2005 case that had a lethal outcome when actress Nicole duFresne confronted an armed mugger, asking “What are you going to do now, shoot us?”

The mugger did just that, killing her.
