The Bronx teacher raped by a city cop continues to fight for “the rape is rape” bill.

In 2011, Lydia Cuomo was attacked by off-duty police officer Michael Pena.

Despite clear physical evidence, Pena was not found guilty of rape, but of sexual assault. Cuomo says she’s appalled the legislature ended its legislative session last month without passing a bill to expand the state’s legal definition of thecrime.

Cuomo has traveled to Albany several times this year to detail her harrowing story.
