Pope spends time with disabled children from all over the world
VATICAN CITY, ITALY (PIX11)– It was a trip of a lifetime for some disabled children in Italy!
250 kids from all over the world, including China, Peru and Ivory Coast, got the opportunity to meet Pope Francis.
All of the children took a train and visited with the pontiff, part of an effort to expose the kids to beauty.
The Pope asked the children how they enjoyed traveling as well as if the heat bothered them.
They were extremely excited to be greeted by the Pope and get to spend some personal time with him.
They’ve also visited Milan, Florence and Bologna as part of the program.
