EVENT: “Teachers Night Out: A Free End of the School Year Dance Party For Teachers”
DATE: Friday, June 21st
TIME: 6 – 11pm
VENUE: Element Night Club (225 E Houston Street, NYC )
RSVP : http://teachersnightoutnyc.eventbrite.com/
ABOUT THE PARTY: On June 21st, New York City teachers are invited to attend ‘TEACHERS NIGHT OUT,’ a free teachers-only dance party to celebrate the end of the school year at Element night club (http://www.elementny.com/) on the Lower East Side. ‘Teachers Night Out’ was organized by Jason Gordon, who simply wanted to say thank you to his wife, a teacher, her colleagues and the rest of the amazing educators in New York City. Working with the great people at Element, the club enthusiastically volunteered to open its doors for a very special after-school dance party on June 21st, where teachers could celebrate the end of another amazing school year. Teachers will be treated to a free dance party where DJ Matte (Resident DJ at Pianos and Gin Palace) will be spinning everything from Top 40 hits to 80`s and 90`s favorites. Jason Gordon is an account director at PKPR where he has represented many great New York City organizations, including Arts Brookfield, Internet Week New York, and Fractured Atlas. He has also led media campaigns for the Knight Foundation, Public Radio Exchange, Lifebeat: Music Fights HIV, and Benevolent. Previously, he worked in publishing where he led campaigns for Barack Obama`s Dreams From My Father and Alex Kotlowitz` Never A City So Real. He was also the creator of SiriusXM`s Blog Radio and Product Shop NYC, which the Village Voice named ‘Best Local Music Blog’ in 2004.
