Fundraising is underway for the family the 11 year old Bed-Stuy girl paralyzed when she was shot in the neck.

Community activists opened a bank account for contributions to help with Tayloni Mazyck’s care.

The child’s mother was overcome with emotion as Tony Herbert called on the community to reach out to help the family with their tremendous burden.

tayloniDoctors want Tayloni transferred to Westchester Medical Center for better care. The family doesn’t have the means to travel every day from Brooklyn to be by her side.

They are hoping the account will help pay the bills.
