Government spying is causing more people to read. And one specific book seems to be on their radar.

It seems a new generation of readers are flipping the pages of goerge owells classic 1984.

In fact sales of the centennial edition on amazon -dot-com hae shot up more than 58-hundred percent as of tuesday night, moving from 7397 to number 125 on amazon’s best seller list. Barnes and noble also reports a big spike in sales of the book. It was published 64 years ago.
