Apartment fire in Rutherford New Jersey

In New Jersey, a dozen people are now homeless after an early morning fire gutted several apartments in Rutherford.

The building on union avenue was “fully involved” when firefighters arrived around 4:30am. They rescued some people from the second floor.

Three were taken to the hospital.

The American Red Cross is providing temporary housing and food for those who’ve been displaced.
