NEW YORK (PIX11) – According to reports the person of interest is from North Boston, Texas.  The city is about 100 miles outside of Shreveport Louisiana, where the post office that sent out the letters back on May 20th is located.
Those letters were sent to mayor Bloomberg, his mayors against illegal group in Washington, and President Obama.
Earlier, Representative Peter King says it’s likely that all three letters were linked.
“Well you know the investigation is obviously in the early stages but the law enforcement people I’ve spoken to say that the letters are virtually identical.  There were the two to Mayor Bloomberg, one in New York, one in D.C. and then the one to President Obama.  So what I’m being told now is that the letters are identical.  But again, it’s at an early stage, but that is what I’m hearing from people in law enforcement.”

They NYPD say the threatening letters included a pinky slimy substance and made specific references to the gun control debate.

“You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns,” they said. “Anyone wants to come to my house will be shot in the face. The right to bear arms is my constitutional God-given right and I will exercise that right ’til the day I die. What’s in this letter is nothing compared to what I’ve got planned for you.”

Now according to reports the wife of the man being questioned called law enforcement after she saw strange material in her refrigerator and found internet searches for ricin, Obama, and Bloomberg.
But when interviewed about the letter on Thursday, the mayor remained confident in the NYPD and the FBI.
