QUEENS (PIX11) — A man and his young daughter fired off a pellet gun, scaring the wits out of parents in a crowded Queens playground Tuesday.
According to the New York Daily News, the man started shooting the gun which resembled a 38-caliber pistol at Astoria’s Ditmars Park.
Parents say he then handed it off to his young daughter who proceeded to point it at other kids.
The News said frightened parents immediately called 911, but they didn’t arrive until an hour later. By that time, the man was gone.
