BOSTON (PIX11)– The FBI is reportedly investigating the wife of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the suspects of the Boston Marathon bombings.

A report in the weekly standard says Katherine Russell Tsarnaev is being eyed as a potential accomplice.

It says she’s suspected of calling her husband and letting him know he and his brother were being hunted by authorities in connection with the deadly bombings.

Since the attack Russell and her small daughter are staying with her parents in Rhode Island and have only been seen from a distance.

Russell was seen leaving her parents’ home in North Kingstown on Saturday.

Three people were killed and more than 250 people were injured in the Boston Marathon attacks.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed in a shootout with Boston authorities.
