Hero Newtown teacher turns grief into hope

If there ever were a person to define the word “hero”, Kaitlin Roig would be it.

On December 14th, 2012, the Newtown, Connecticut teacher knew she had to somehow save her students from Adam Lanza’s rampage.

Roig told us her remarkable story and how she turned tragedy and grief into a life lesson for not only her students, but for classrooms around the country.
